How does it work?

 

Coyotes are intelligent, adaptable, and athletic canines.  They have an incredible sense of smell, very keen eyesight, are physically capable of running up to 40mph and scaling walls and fences with ease.

The Coyote Roller provides a proven perimeter barrier that eliminates a foothold when access is attempted.  

 

As opposed to spike strips, chemicals, and other less effective deterrent methods, Coyote Rollers provide a more effective and "do no harm" method that prevents Coyotes from accessing the property.

Do you need Coyote Rollers?

 

Most people who choose to have coyote rollers installed have a few things in common.  

• Property walls or fencing in the 6-8ft range

• Small pets or children that may be left unsupervised at some point

• Attractors that cannot be removed (pool, water features, citrus trees, etc) 

• Property located near potential habitat (wash, NAOS area, golf course, parks, etc)

• Rural properties with chickens or livestock at risk of Coyote attack

• Commercial properties who's operation requires protection from wildlife

  • Schools, Airports, Vehicle Testing Facilities​

How Common are Encounters?

While harmless encounters are becoming more common as Coyotes expand territory throughout Maricopa County, reported attacks are still not common.  This is to say, attacks reported in the news or filed by the Arizona Game and Fish Department are not too common.

That being said, scrolling social media like Facebook or Next Door paints a different picture, with story after story of  dangerous close encounters and unfortunately deadly attacks on pets.  The vast majority of properties choose to have rollers installed to protect their pets and small children.

Why not "Do it Yourself"?

​Simply put - trust an expert that has experience installing the product on a variety of wall and fence types.

• The best installation outcome requires the installer to have experience using various power tools, some of which are expensive and dangerous.  (Miter Saw) 

• Some of our clients are not physically capable or interested in the installation process

• Installation often requires using power tools at heights that are considered fall hazard.  

• Arizona summer is hot :)
