Dog snatched by coyote in Seymour

A dog was recently snatched by a coyote in Seymour, according to a town official.

First Selectwoman Annmarie Drugonis said a rust-colored dog was taken in the area of Bridle Path and Stony Creek Lane.

“We are hoping the little one was able to get away,” Drugonis said.

Drugonis reminded pet owners to have their small animals on a leash when going outside.

Anyone who sees the dog was asked to call the first selectwoman’s office.
